The basics of Phototherapy

Phototherapy or Light therapy consists of exposure to light radiation. Specific wavelengths of light using narrow band or full-spectrum light, for a prescribed amount of time are applied today not only in Hospitals, Clinics, Nursing homes and Doctors practices but also are widely used by Skincare specialists and Aestheticians. Light therapy is used to treat Wounds (also chronic wounds and burns), Acne vulgaris, SAD / Seasonal Affective Disorder, Eczema, Pain, and Sleep disorders. It also is applied for Skin rejuvenation and general skin care.
